Were Covered: More Common than not we Americans have a false sense of security because we live in the greatest country in the world. The problem is that this security blanket is hurting us and preventing us to become more aware of what is happening with our government and country. The copy in the poster symbolizes our false sense of security while the image paint a very different picture.

What Else: Everyday our troops are overseas fighting a battle to feed our addiction to oil. This is a conceptual illustration of the American consumers need for oil and what we are doing for it. The arm in the poster looks as if its been sucked dry and the iv in his arm is at a point where it has no more oil (life) to take.
